Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. The music she grew up with was traditional, old boleros along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, however she started more intense vocal training through Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera singer and tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a student, and being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles as well as choruses. After moving into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to southern California. She's a regular solo performer for private events and parties and performs traditional Latin American Music. In addition to being a local performer and instructor the passion for art and music has her involved in a range of projects. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
